Cox Finishes Time On Thrive Board, Welcomes Pickrel

Trent Cox from F&M Bank has wrapped up his time on the Thrive Community Services board. Since joining in 2016, he has taken on various roles, including board president and vice president, as well as contributing to the finance committee. His dedication has been instrumental in initiatives such as planning a name change and rebranding, establishing board committees and term limits, launching the Hub in downtown Galesburg, and helping the organization navigate the challenges of COVID.

"We are grateful for all that Trent has done for Thrive. From serving on the board to being a constant cheerleader for Thrive in the community, he has assisted and guided us through many changes and challenges," states Pam Green, Chief Executive Officer.


Joining the board is Annette Pickrel of F&M Bank.


Continuing on the board is President Luan Statham, retired District 205; Vice President Randy Conlon of Office Specialists; Secretary & Treasurer Doug Gibb, directors Adam Benedict of Mechanical Services, Inc.; Pat Egan of Egan Law; Cal Palmer of RFMS; Jodi Scott, retired Regional Superintendent of Schools; Autumn Scott, Vice President of Student Development at Carl Sandburg College; Katie Smith, Molina Health and Amber Wold of Graham Health.


Established in 1956, Thrive Community Services, formerly KCCDD, has a long history of advocating and providing services in Galesburg. Current programs include community day services, community employment services, SOAR respite program and Gordon Behrents Senior Center. Today, the organization serves over 300 individuals.
