Respite Services

It has been our goal for a long time to provide respite services for families in need. With the support of the Knox County Mental Health Board, we are now able to provide this service. Please stay tuned here and on our Facebook for upcoming respite opportunities.

Other Respite Opportunities

What is respite? Respite is taking a break from the daily challenges of caring for a loved one who has intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We offer a variety of supports. ​

​

• In-Home Services

  • One-on-one service provided by certified Direct Support Professionals in an individual's home. 

  • 2 hours/session minimum

  • $6 co-pay/hour 

​

• Group Respite

  • Monthly respite opportunities hosted at the HUB. 

  • $20 co-pay

  • 2:1 staff ratio

  • Dinner provided 

​

• Social Opportunities 

  • Quarterly trips for small groups, including transportation, meal, and admission fee.

  • Fee varies per activity

  • Trained staff
